PIT always had a good eye for good pitching & not able to develop it properly with bad team. I really wanted for us take advantage of that situation. They still have a good eye for ptching but now they are able to develope it & are a team to be reckoned with.

No AK vs. a right hander. Not a good sign for #19.

You don't see Rocco missing a chance to get his RH "hitters" into the lineup.

Ryan looking sharp in the 1st, Buxton with a nice catch, hope he can start to swing it better

Well - I agree with you that it was a nice grab but just took another horrible at bat and struck out - I think he is 1/25 right now

I realize new age statheads will scoff, but  there is no offensive statistic more crucial than RBIs.

And we ain't got any RBI guys.

Royce is an RBI guy and I think Miranda and Correa are RBI guys when they have runners on.

We'll see on Lewis. Way to early to tell. He needs to stay on the field, for one thing.

Correa has never driven in 100, despite hitting in the middle of some pretty good Houston lineups, with 2 seasons over 600 PAs. Less than 160 RBI in 2.33 full Twins seasons. Again, in the middle of the lineup.

Miranda? Nah.

Yup you are correct, they suck in your opinion . Why do you root for this godforsaken team?

Several of the reasons we should be measuring it as a situational success rate stat. I don't care what your approach is if it works.

I'm genuinely puzzled why we don't have this yet.

I can live with that.

Forced to listen on radio now that I'm in Minnesota.

Atteberry is ... annoying.

100% right on brother!

Ryan had 14/14 first strikes up until Oliveras. You'd think he would get a border line call that has a big piece of the strike square.
