Fire away with your questions, always happy to help. Astounding how comfortable folks can be with words like corrupt. I'd let the courts sort out whether it's libel, slander or defamation. It gets tricky and I'm not that expert. Maybe best to avoid that kind of lunacy. Since it’s written it would be libel. Although since it’s being applied to a class of people I suppose it might qualify as hate speech. Have to bug a lawyer friend about that. Jocko87 1

The first move should be the manager.... That's not happening so any other coaching staff move is pretty much irrelevant. This team is an offensive train wreck. IndyTwinsFan 1

My real viewpoint would be strong enough to earn some demerit points from the moderators.

howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Fire the hitting coach. Put Castro lead-off and let the first 5-6 spots in the order bet set for awhile. Stop the constant platooning BS except for the 8th/9th spots.
BiggestRoccoFan Verified Member Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 This team plays like its manager manages, With no pulse and it's contagious. We play inconsistent baseball because of the way we are managed and if you don't agree you are blind. How can anyone on this team get into any kind of grove with Rocco? One day hitting 3rd, Next day off, Next day batting 9th. Next day lifted in the 5th for the worst hitter on the team. USAFChief, h2oface and CRF 3

CRF Verified Member Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Ryan deserved better. He's easily been our best starter this season, and probably will be going forward. The sad thing is...when this team wins, we win despite the way it's managed, not because of it. Patzky 1
MABB1959 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Umpiring may be bad but they could try swinging at some of the good pitches and battle the close ones. IMO there is more watching good pitches going by.

Very true they couldn't pay them but until a couple of years ago they couldn't develop them. The constant outflow of pitchers, those pitchers dramatically got better after leaving. To name a few Glasnow, Cole & Musgrove were so-so SPs with PIT but became elite SPs with other teams. Archer was a very good & promising SP before PIT & was terrible after, In the last couple of years PIT has upgraded their pitching development dramatically, As we saw last night

He was one of the best pitchers in baseball. He was traded to Houston or he was walking in free agency for Musgrove. Musgrove and Glasnow both had electric stuff but were often injured. Keller Jones and Skenes won't be there long either.
