The bats are lighter in St Paul

I'd be shocked. They'll give him at least another 100 PAs, IYAM. He was too good last year.

He has been outstanding.  First time in the AL- might take a bit for the "local" hitters to catch up to him, but I gotta believe it will happen.

And holy moley- those Royals starters really have been carrying everybody- I thought we had it tough with our right-handed "bats"- the Axis of Futility of Farmer, Vazquez and Margot- but take a look at that Royal regular outfield: 😱 .166, .176, and .212!  They're nearly a perfect match!

Sisters and brothers
This is Reverend lugo gettin' ready to beat out his mellow Pitches for you
My lesson this evening is "When the Balls go blazing by"
Here come Brother Bobby Witt down the aisle with his trombone
Blue it, boy

Oh, when the ball (when the ball)
Goes blazing by (blaxing by)
Now, when the ball goes blazing by (blazing by)
Yes, I want to be in that number
When the balls go blazing by

ish.

Ober doesn't look sharp, too many hittable pitches. Too much middle middle, even on some swings and misses.

heh

Given Bailey Ober's propensity in 2024 to be either unhittable or overwhelmed, Vegas sports books have decided to post an "Ober-under" line in all remaining games this season where he is the projected starter.

Three out of four innings were great!

If he doesn't use them wisely Miranda will steal some of them.
