I actually did. People were upset he didn’t bat yesterday, but I expect that he didn’t bat yesterday so that his family could be there for his first big league start and at bat.

Don't understand the left left right right beginning of the lineup. 

I am not a professional baseball manager and am not under any illusions that I know baseball better than Rocco.

Just seems odd to me.

Looking forward to seeing how he does there.  If he proves to be serviceable as Buxton's understudy, that could be big!

Finally got around to highlights this morning and that first double was very reminiscent of 22 year old Buck.  Sheesh. 

Slightly reckless but it was in a tight spot of the game.  I would not have minded just taking the single there and stealing second.  It looked 100% effort for sure.

Will Smith may be unavailable after yesterday, and KC only has one other lefty in the pen, who threw 24 pitches while facing five batters in game 1. Maybe the Twins are unimpressed with KC's left handed options today.

They also stacked the switch hitters at the bottom of the order rather than splitting Jeffers and Martin. 

I think a lot of the stacks he makes are related to the pinch hitting spots anticipated for later in the game.  If KC brings a lefty for Julien that lefty gets to face Farmer, Margot, Buxton.  Advantage Rocco.  If they think Smith is unavailable I'd love that matchup against that other lefty.

Same with Wallner spot, if they bring a lefty they get 3 RHH against the lefty.

Me, too. I’ve been wanting to see him out there for some time, but never thought they’d put him out there the first game he plays in in the majors.
