It's amazing how the new techniques such as instant replay, overturning some rules, challenges, etc.  the game survived quite nicely for over 150 yrs, While muddle it up?

Let human factor (umpires) legislate within the game and the other human factor (Players) play the damn game.

After the dust has settled after 2.37 hours or 4.5 hours, who ever is ahead in runs, wins.  Plain and simple.
