Lewis needed to tag up on that long fly ball.  If it's a home run, it doesn't matter where he's at.  If the left fielder doesn't make the catch he's easily at 2nd and potentially 3rd.  With the left fielder catching the ball he should be at 2nd.  That would have kept the team out of the double platy.

12-15?  Lol. Okay.

I don’t think that’s a stretch… whether it’s his decisions to pull pitchers too early or bring in the wrong arm… he has three plus years of pitching mismanagement under his belt… I will stick with that number

Then again if it bangs off the wall, Lewis more than likely scores instead of being held at 3rd and even possibley 2nd depending on how quickly they get the ball back in

The Twins pen has been credited with 20 losses total on the season.  Blaming 12 to 15 on Rocco is  absolute insanity.

Easy to say in hindsight.

Remember last year  ,  short starts  like today,  odds of using 4-5 guys a game and it will bite ya ,  Pagan threw what 10 pitches ? ,  Easy to say cause Rocco is not the best in -game manager , gotten better  lately,

If it bangs off the wall it's either 1st and 2nd with zero outs or 2nd and 3rd with zero outs.  Either of those is a much better outcome than not tagging up on a long fly ball where the left fielder spun around and hit the wall after the catch.

Maybe it's just hindsight, eh? Was Rocco smart when Stewart was mowing the league down?

You can be upset all you want at the bullpen or Rocco for “mismanaging” it but the problem boils down to Falvey not doing anything about the bullpen when it obviously needed help.
If the bullpen blows the chance to finally win a playoff series then he needs to go.

And when Pagan gives up runs in his 2nd inning of work, this board is full of DFA Pagan, he can't be trusted, what TF was Rocco thinking Pagan can throw 2 innings in a 1 run game?!

Hindsight is a fun game to play with managers, you can blame them for just about anything then.

I wasn't watching live but I don't want to hear crap about Jax periferal numbers until he can stop tipping pitches or whatever he's doing.

Ok, went back and watched it. Horribly non-competitive pitches make the cookies easy to hit.  The Greene triple hit his target but that looked like the hot zone. The two home runs were missed spots to middle middle.

He didn’t hit a corner once in 33 pitches. 10 of them were more than a foot out of the zone. He probably needs a break too.

How many games worked out just fine and left you nothing to complain about?  The bullpen has been credited with half of the teams wins.

There's two sides to this coin.

I am hardly complaining, just calling it as I see it. … it’s been three years of mediocre play (at best) from this team and IMO some really questionable decisions by the manager. Yes they will back into the playoffs, but there are a half dozen teams in the AL more deserving. There is no reason too be a .500 club with our starting pitching staff this year. The lack of creativity on offense, sloppy play at times, undisciplined plate approaches shoddy defense, and poor use of the BP ultimately fall on the manager. Whatever the reason, this team cannot put a decent string of solid baseball together.
