Kepler in the 5 hole!  SWEET!

His meaningless HR yesterday will be used to play him for the foreseeable future.  Its dumb be classic FO thinking.

Hey, don't be rude. Correa and Buxton are in the 3 and 4 holes, and they deserve some attention, too!

Totally acceptable lineup for game 1 of spring training.

In fairness, I was trying to draw attention away from Correa and Buxton.  I feel like they get all of the attention and nobody ever talks about Kepler.

And I went and ruined it! I apologize for ruining your good deed for the month. I'll be better next time, I promise!

I can't remember what's below the Mendoza line, but whatever it is, we've got a couple guys zeroing in on it. Too bad it isn't the unemployment line. We must be going for the MLB record for K's in a season.

It's always good to have goals in life.

I'm preparing myself for the Twins to finally relinquish their "strangle hold" on the divisional lead this week.  Could happen tonight?  Tonight!?  Tomorrow?  Next week?  Did anyone really think the Twins were going to win the division this year??!!  I've been trying to think of a good analogy to the type of team this really is.

How about, they're like a souffle that's been cooking for several hours and deflates as soon as it comes out of the oven (Three Stooges reference...).  Or they're like a jug of milk in the fridge that's finally gone bad.  Or they're like a Ron Popeil infomercial product that when you get it, doesn't perform like it did in the demo (and it ends up in the trash).  Take your pick, or make up your own.  However you slice it, the result is the same.  Pretty bad.

It truly is unreal at this point. I feel like they are trolling us.

With Buxton batting cleanup, you may be right.

Buxton kind of slides into that category as well.  He'll need to do a lot of raking to justify his batting order position in my opinion.

Er, i think i last paid attention sometime last week. (but good question! most don't ask me for my frame of reference)

Then you haven't missed a whole lot.  In fact, I'm kinda jealous.

It bothers me that this team hasn't played better.  I feel that maybe I've given the talent a higher evaluation than I should.  Call it a home team bias.  An interesting little exercise is to match by position or line up, the Twins versus any other team.  Check off the player who you feel is better or who you would rather have on 'your' team.  It's kind of shocking to see, that the Twins talent isn't quite what I thought it was.

Doesn't pertain to our team, but I happened to see that Gio Urshela fractured his pelvis and will probably miss the rest of the season. Really liked him when he was here last season.
