We've lost most trades we've made, spent poorly in FA, and drafted a bit poorly. So, most of that should be on the GM. But Falvey was in charge of modernizing the system and bragged about creating a pipeline, so ...

Not to mention a lack of any impactful international signings thus far by this front office...

Don't PH for Kirilloff in the 6th, please.

Gonna wager Solano hits off a RHer later this game.

I win.

Another exciting one today, boys! Can't wait to follow this team through mediocrity (if they are even that!)

They think attendance fell off last year?  They aint seen nothing yet.

I know there are arguments both good and bad for a position player to pitch in mop up situation, but to me it's still a bush maneuver.

It's the major league version of the 10 run rule.

Today I came across a bad accident. A truck carrying an entire load of "scrabble" games overturned. Cargo everywhere.

I saw an investigating officer so I sidled up and asked "what's the word on the street?"

I would have rather seen the Twins string together 3 or 4 hits, rather hit 2 homers, so far.

3 homers, ok.

The twins trash these old washed up pitchers. We’ve finally found something you’re good at, private Pyle!

Agree about the front office,  But I'm not sure we have much in the way of position players to call up, except for Wallner and Larnach. We're lacking in talent.

I don't disagree with that point, but that leads to another problem.  There's just not enough potentially viable alternatives above high A to get overly excited about the short-term outlook for this team.  And of the few that do exist, most can't seem to figure it out at the major league level, ala Wallner and Larnach.

Hence, I fully agree with your lacking in talent assessment.

Well, technically, I believe homers qualify as hits.

I tend to agree. More pitchers carried on an active roster than ever. And yet we need to use position players…on a regular basis (in blowouts).
