The only positive thing to have happened this year (to me) was beating the Yankees in the season series. All else could be flushed down the turlet

God I hope we’re sellers at the deadline. Please, please don’t pretend any proximity to first place in this division means anything.

Maybe some team out there is looking for a first base coach.

On a different note, I'd say the question of who goes to St Paul to make room for Maeda has been settled.

Yeah... Sometimes it's best to let the answer reveal itself by having a bad game... shower, get dressed, call an uber and head over to St. Paul.

Cleveland struggling with the A’s, tied in the 9th. This division sets the game back 75 years

2 games under .500 and Twins still in 1st in The Broken Toys Division.

Not much to sell!

We led this division for most of last season and ended up in the abyss.  New season, but same story.

He also threw like 158 pitches to get through the inning, so as has become SOP the guy not usable for a game or 2 is the chosen Uber customer.

Just another thing about 2023 MLB baseball I'm not a fan of...the revolving door at the back of the pen. I get the reasoning, but it's...unseemly. I'd like to have some sort of idea of who I'm cheering for. At least some level of attachment.

You know, I’m starting to think this team may not have it.

At least the stupid tv deal saves me from watching this gong show of a team.

I think I made a right decision not to renew MLB.tv last March.   They are so terrible.

They probably don't even wait for Rocco to call them into the office for the news.

They just get in the car and away they go.

They should trade Gray to a team looking for pitching. If they could get a huge package for Duran, they should jump at that. But, with this division, they could still win the central after trading those two.

Was that a Dobnak endorsement?

He’s got an ERA of 5.50 and a WHIP of nearly 2 in AAA. Glad we locked him up for all those years!

I'd put a lot (but not all) of the onus on Falvey and Levine.  They're the ones supplying the players Rocco can use, and most of them clearly aren't cutting it as major leaguers.  But yet nothing of significance seems to get done regarding the roster.

Agree about the front office,  But I'm not sure we have much in the way of position players to call up, except for Wallner and Larnach. We're lacking in talent.

Definitely agree with the first part.

Who is to blame for that?

We've lost most trades we've made, spent poorly in FA, and drafted a bit poorly. So, most of that should be on the GM. But Falvey was in charge of modernizing the system and bragged about creating a pipeline, so ...

Just catching up, but looking at the box score, Kirilloff got pinch hit for as the first batter of the inning? And down three runs? He hurt? Seems like Gallo or Kepler would be better options to get pinch hitters.

Rocco frantically rearranging chairs on the Titanic.

Starting with the lightest chairs.

It’s not going to matter obviously, other than to draw more embarrassment upon himself and the club.

If anyone is looking to surprise me with a gift, I wouldn't be opposed to dinner with Jim Kaat.

Don't hold your breath, with this bunch.
