Hahahaha...anyone else see Gordon check his glove to make sure the ball was, indeed, lodged there on the inning ending fly ball?

Is there an analytical advantage to grunting after every pitch? Because our starters have to be #1 in MLB for grunt per pitch.

Grunt after every pitch, or none at all. Otherwise it's a tell.

If he grunts, its definitely a pitch?  If he doesn't, it's definitely not a pitch?

Gonna go out on a limb here and posit the analytics staff has determined it's more effective than grunting prior to every pitch.

Julien's lifetime BA now stands at .000.  Sustainable?

Let's hope not.

I hear Grunting is a huge part of this new training regimen for the pitchers. 🤷‍♂️

Less so than his fielding percentage.

I thought banning the shift would have had a bigger impact.

3 run double.

Edit: jam shot lazy fly ball on a 1-0 count.

I'd like to hear the rational from Rocco/analytics staff on Nick Gordon batting cleanup.

Bases left loaded, ya say?

Those first 270 feet seem so easy for us.

Works as a descriptor of our fly ball telemetry, too.

Got those outfielders zeroed in pretty well, I'd say.

Rocco and the FO outthinking themselves with Gordon 4 and Larnach 6. Definitely want the guy hitting under .100 in there with the bases loaded and not the guy hitting over .300. Just put Buxton and Larnach at the top and quit messing with their spots. Get them all the ABs possible until the rest of the lineup figures their lives out.

I'd like to hear the rationale for Gordon batting.
