Every time I hear Rocco talk I think of Brad Pitt in money ball "every time we speak I'm reinvigorated for my love of the game."

What a great success story, couldn’t even beat the Twins in a playoff series

No offense to the bullpen but they should have been able to sit on their butts tonite and watch some potential history. Rocco simply spoiled all the fun for me...even though we know Twins aren't going to make the playoffs.

Its a win that feels like a loss.

And Ryan’s moping sure adds to that impression.  He really doesn’t play the usual game.

Wow, Joe Ryan looks pissed off coming out of the dugout.

He may ask for trade after what Rocco did to him.

Please tell me we aren’t going to get on the case of a pitcher for being upset that his Lily livered manager deprived him of a chance at history. Please don’t tell me that

Pretty sure Ryan is happy with the Twins. They traded for him, immediately gave him a shot, then helped him successfully navigate his rookie season setting him up for a long lucrative career.

I don’t think he wants to be a Twin anymore

I wouldn’t bet on it, see his post game interview, he doesn’t look happy to me

He’s probably happy to be playing in front of a SLIGHTLY larger crowd. But I’d be pretty steamed that I didn’t get a chance at history.

He did seem pissed, he didn't really complete the interview.

Maybe, but a new manager would help.

An entirely new coaching staff would help. But I strongly suspect rocco will be back next season

This has a unique solution, but it is an odd way of choosing favorites.

Disappointing season, and he has a chance to do something great, I think he feels cheated, he’ll get over it

I lost my respect for Rocco.   Sorry to say that.

Who are you trying to fool? You haven’t had respect for much of anything he’s done most of the season

So you’re sputtering down the stretch, just about out of contention, and one of your guys gets deprived of a chance at history. As a fan, what is the reason to tune in for the final 2+ weeks?

Best for the Vikings if the Bears lose

(He’s doing a bit. Gosh darnit he’s committed to it)

I think Rocco is really close to loosing the locker room….tonight’s decision to pull Ryan is not going to win over many of those players sitting on the fence.

I think Rocco taking him out after 7 innings was cruel.  He should at least let him pitch in 8th inning.   Every pitcher would love to have no-hitter in their lifetime.  It is very rarity.   He may not have another chance for no-hit.  Who knows!
