The Guardians are down 6-2 in the top of the 6th in game 1 of their doubleheader with the evil empire in Cleveland.

Go Yankees

I just couldn't quite bring myself to say that even though for the Twins' sake it's what I hope for.

Good to see Jeffers back in the lineup. Anybody hear why he left early yesterday?

?

I don't see Jeffers in the lineup today? Was he scratched? If so, that doesn't bode well

I feel indifferent about this, don't really like either team. Probably have more distain for the Yankees but since Cleveland is direct competition for our division I guess...go Yankees????

Team really looks flat...they looked flat yesterday as well. Buxton bailed out a poor overall effort.  17-20 their last 37, much of that due to the bullpen.  Gray doesn't look good either.

Not really scoreboard watching, just for fun: Lamont Wade has led off with a home run to put Dylan Cease and the Sox behind right away.

Second day in a row Buxton fails to produce with a man on 3rd and nobody out. Guy's quickly becoming a 2018 version of Miguel Sano.

Now Correa with the K, unforgiveable ABs from the middle of the order here. Even bad teams should easily get a run home in this situation.

horrible effort by the middle of the order, this team is really bad right now.  I need to see a 50 win 2nd half to have any confidence things are moving in the right direction.

Dang, that was a prime opportunity down the drain. Buck pops up on ball 4 and Correa victimized by a called strike 1 that was 3" low and then had to swing at two more similar pitches because of it. Just have to keep it close and look for more opportunities to come.

Not really scoreboard watching.

Could probably answer my own questions if i was...

Another example of the Twins not being able to score a runner from first on a double. Urshela just goes first to third. On a double. Again.

Why 5?

(why 5?)

(why 5?)

(why 5?)

(why 5?)

(why 5?)

Yup, i still wanna know?

Scoring because of the bunt. The Twins would never bunt there to advance the runner from second to third with no outs. Never.

It's like trench warfare, and not getting gunned down.
