I guess they're hitting .270  10-37  so not terrible. Probably just the late inning game on the line failure making it feel worse.

I was being facetious, I'm guessing Rocco learned his lesson. Having a 4 run lead early definitely takes pressure off late inning guys.

The Scientific Method says you have to tell the hypothesis in advance.  Otherwise, it's not science-y enough.
