Yesterday was his 5th time being sent down. So he cannot be sent down again after this call up.

I expect Varland will get the call for the double-header.

Remember, we have to make 40-man deletions when we activate Winder. Dobnak needs to be actvated, too (although I would attempt to waiver him and then assign him to St. Paul...his contract will keep him a non-roster Twins still next year).

Larnach, Ober, Jeffers will also involve 40-man moves.

Just checked the Twins website and the Winder recall has been announced but no corresponding moves yet.

 

No 40 man move is needed as with him it stands at 39. Just have to send a pitcher down.

Hopefully, that's the last we see of Archer. Time for him to try and jump-start his career with another team.

This was his best, or second best season since 2018. Not sure what’s left in the tank for Archer.

That doesn’t create a new 40-man spot since Dobnak was on the 60-day IL. Dobnak’s rehab time probably is up and the Twins don’t want to add him back on the 40-man.
