I miss when these blowout losses at least included a funny guy to watch.

I’m a bogey golfer and couldn’t break 90 today. The putter was not my friend.

Once in a while every putter needs a good talking to. Occasionally even to be windmilled into the next fairway. They get uppity otherwise.

Air Force humor! Well, you know what they say...come to a baseball game (thread) and you might just see something you've never seen before!

I threatened to bench mine.  But it knew that it was the only putter in my stable, so it had leverage on me.

What do we do with the basses loaded?

Too many outs to ground into a double play

I went the game where La Tortuga first pitched because of a blowout loss. The section I was sitting in had a ton of youth soccer players from Mexico. They were having the time of their lives. Singing. Cheering. Made it on the Jumbotron. It was like sitting a section full of Dani Rojases (Ted Lasso fans, amIright?)

The best part was at the end of the game where the coaches pulled out giant garbage bags and had the kids clean up their area. It was the funnest, worst loss I'd been to.

Depends on which Beethoven symphony is being performed and whether it's the fourth movement.  If it's the bottom of the Ninth...

We're gonna need Chief to offer a translation of this super-sekrit code language.

/edit - ninja'd by a few seconds

Astudillo's hair flowed like that when he simply walked to the water cooler.

Or the buffet table?

Yeah, in such a case, the batter should not outsmart himself - opt for simplicity.

If it's "a few seconds," neither of us are doing this ninja thing very well any more.

I believe the plural of bass is bass.

Willians never once has walked to a buffet table.

Yaaaaaassssss a position player on the mound. Let's see if we can find something to get mad at Houston about.

"87.8 MPH four seam fastball"

Better than I expected.  The 67.8 MPH change up sets it up nicely, I am sure.

I learned from my mistake.  The situation has been handled.

I believe "the list of things I can't do any more" is my bigger concern these days.

Not sure if the Twins consistently threatening but failing to capitalize is encouraging or disturbing....

YES

(Setting a good capitalizing example)
