Mrs Chief was doing her daily NYT crossword just now, and couldn't find her thesaurus. For some reason, she looked at me and said accusingly, "Chief, did you move my thesaurus?"

Well, to put it mildly, her accusation left me dumbfounded, awestricken, flabbergasted, stupefied and quite frankly, bewildered.
