So what’s the problem

heh ... well ... no problem, I just find it very interesting that posters wait until things get lopsided before showing up spewing

The wrong guy left the base, after the other guy was called out, had he been tagged it would have been a double play,

There’s plenty to spew about

While no one is under the illusion that Dobnak is or will be anyone's ace, be a bit more respectful than calling him

Never said there wasn't ... just find it interesting that no one was here for the beginning of the game ... and very few posting about last night's game ... then show up the minute they did today... misery loves company is all

Last nights game? Big deal they won one game, I’ve been a fan of this team as long as anyone, I think I’ve earned the right to “spew” whenever I feel like it.

OK, that makes sense.  I thought you were saying they had an opportunity for a DP if they had tagged in a certain order.

Apparently it's now a gentlemen's game when played on a nice Sunday afternoon.  Return to your base, sir.

Squirrel, what does Dobnak’s ERA of 8.38 tell you?   That tells me he is terrible!  Get it!

I'm sorry ... but please read our comment policy about respect. No one here thinks Dobnak is doing well ... no one ... no one is under any illusion that he is anything but what he is ... but calling him worthless is disrespectful ... and I'm saying this as a moderator on this site. Frustrating? Absolutely. He will be sent down, me thinks, after the game. But watch the disrespect

Everyone behave, or else Papa Rocco will turn the Country Squire around and we'll all have to wait until next year for our vacation to 100 Loss National Park.

I dunno, LB, every time I piped up when my brother and sister were squabbling, suddenly I was the one in trouble.

One good thing about having a bullpen full of guys suitable only for mopup duty - put one in, and suddenly there is plenty of work for the others!

Is Shoemaker warming up yet?

Yeah, I had mixed results as a peacemaker so I would also play the instigator and victim as well.  It was easy to switch back and forth, being the only child and all.

Come to think of it, maybe that's why my parents used to listen to the radio pretty loud.

Shoemaker still praying on the field, before he starts pitching. Good luck with that. Seems nothing is listening.

Why not? We put Dobnak in there when we did ... why not Shoemaker, too

It seems so irresponsible that Dobnak, Colome, and Shoemaker are even still on this team. At this point, any pitcher would seem to have more worth. I feel so respectful.

By having Shoemaker on the roster the Twins are telling us that there is nobody else in the organization who can do a better job. I simply do not believe that. As I said after his debacle in KC it is time to thank him for trying and wish him well in his future endeavors.

If they feel a pat on the back and a handshake isn't enough to send him on his way, I'd be happy to chip in for a card.

I knew it when he was signed. All that followed is just proof. The FO just has a hard time admitting it when they are so wrong.

i don't know how the defense would set up but Tortuga should pitch the ninth.

Shoemaker is supposed to give us innings.  Let him.  He can twist slowly, slowly in the wind.

Make the fans happy by giving them something. Maybe they'll want to come back for another game.

Send Dobnak to Saint Paul for the remainder of the season(no matter how well he pitches there).  Colome ONLY pitches in garbage time.  Shoemaker DFA...my guess is the FO and Rocco refuse to release him due to his salary and being a free agent signing.  They will give him every chance to stay with the team.

Pineda left with right forearm tightness.

Oh, well, then that makes sense why Dobnak came in ... substituting forearm tightness with a torn fingernail. makes total sense

I think he's had every chance already.
