I believe that this was a batting practice day - Dobnak, Shoemaker, Colome - a batters dream.  I can't help but wonder if Dobnak had things going well and then the coaches decided to help him.

Yup, the money by itself is a relative drop in the bucket by even Twins standards.

On the other hand, nobody goes broke buying one infomercial mistake like the Potty Putter, but it might be an indication of questionable fiscal judgement going forward...

• I guess you can add Ober to that for 7 hits in 5 innings on Friday...... but folks seem to think that was good pitching from the articles and comments I read.... (the last 3 of the 11 on Friday were against Shoemaker, again, in that sparkling 9th that Baldelli orchestrated)
