Astudillo should have scored.  He mis-judged the flight of that ball.  The ball hit the wall and he was still at second.  There was no way that ball was going to be caught.  Another mental mistake!

he also should have been on second on his hit to right center. He didn't run initially when he hit the line drive. He thought the 2nd baseman was going to catch it and didn't run. That cost a base. And then a run.

How many times have the twins had a contact play on just to simply run into an out????

Personally I'm OK with that, with 1 out. I think that's the right play.

 

What bothers me is Garver can't get the ball to the outfield.

The fewer innings the starter goes, the more innings the bullpen has to throw.
