I said on a thread Friday the double double headers were going to cripple the pitching staff and how it was not going to be a good thing having to face WS next. This is going worse than I thought. Somebody needs to wake this team up

Couldn’t agree more. And to think we thought we had so much depth that we didn’t know what to do with all our starters.

Sometimes I think I'd prefer games to be shorter than 9 innings - they just drag so long. Then a game like this occurs, and I look and see it's the seventh and we're down to our last three outs all of a sudden. Seems abrupt.

It's not even just the bullpen game every 5th day (which I despise). It's that when they do get a good starting pitching outing, they're out after five or six anyway so you're still using 3-4 relievers.
