Game Thread "Odysseus" Twins vs Royals 1:10pm cdt 9/22/2019ad

[Squirrel]

That ball was like 20 feet up the wall.

A good center fielder would be able to jump for it

[bighat]

How about Stashak, really turning into a nice bullpen piece here.

[FlauerPauer]

How about the Cubs? I can't stand them and it makes me happy to see them fold as hard as they have the last week.

[IndianaTwin]

Rhetorical question?

What if there was no such thing as rhetorical questions?

[LVTwinsfan]

I just got home -- any profound analysis or really good jokes in the prior pages, or can I just start from here?

Perez is a joke

As a Cardinals fan, I concur. Edited September 22, 2019 by wsnydes

[tvagle]

Romo then Rogers

or

Alcala then Graterol

[tvagle]

As a Cardinals game, I concur.

Which game are you?

[70charger]

I want to see Alcala. I haven't seen him yet since I missed yesterday's game. Not that I mind so much, given how it turned out.

[wsnydes]

Which game are you?

Scotch.

[PDX Twin]

Great respect for the St. Louis organization. They have maintained a competitive team for a decade without high draft choices and without spending a mint on FAs. A model for the Twins.

At least we no longer have to hear about this year being the year that the curse could be broken anytime they have a winning record, or how the curse lives when they do something like this.

[Squirrel]

They’re scared to pitch to Cruz

[LVTwinsfan]

They’re scared to pitch to Cruz

Absolutely. Probably the best organization in the majors.

I’m pretty sure they overpaid the curse out of existence.

[tvagle]

They’re scared to pitch to Cruz

Like a Squirrel trying to cross the street in her new running shoes

[70charger]

Eddie having himself a game!

[Squirrel]

ROSIE!!!!! Woohoo!

[tvagle]

That totals a Bomba and a half for Rosie

[Don Walcott]

Eddie using all parts of the ballpark today!

[FlauerPauer]

EDDDDDIEEEEEE!

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Alright Edysseus!

[bighat]

Eddie says "get on my back".

[tvagle]

Alright Edysseus!

Nice....I see what you done there

[Don Walcott]

Eddie says "get on my back".

But careful with the hip.

[LVTwinsfan]

So if the Twins hang on to win this nail biter, they will have a 5-2 homestand. That’s a good sign

[Nine of twelve]

Cubs eliminated in the NL Central race.

[FlauerPauer]

Gotta love the usage of Duffey and May this afternoon. Shut that door and let the offense do its thing.

[Don Walcott]

Cubs eliminated in the NL Central race.

By getting swept at home by the Cards. Ouch!
