FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Alright, boys. I'm out to get my bluegrass on! Keep the vibes rollin'! Let's get this W!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Oh Bremer, Can we make the playoffs 1st,
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I tell ya, Dobnak is destined to be a workhorse starter for the next decade. Good foundation, surprising locations, no fear. He could be a #3 starter for a long time. He does need to work on holding runners, tho.Might be our best # 3 right now ?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Hey - Dugout you watching ?? atta boy Cruz
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Rocco moves the line up all the time - righty - lefty deal But never Eddie?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Gordon bounces out to right field.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I hope Dobnak can go at least 5 tonite...better 6. But we won['t get ahead of ourselves. He is not quite as sharp but still recording outs. Thats what matters.I hope Eddie was watching closely the way the old guy legged out that double. Hustle all the way.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 and thats how you get out of an inning without throwing too many pitches. He'll get the 5th now for sure...(right???)
tvagle Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Cron looking rested and...nimble tonightGood to see
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I think the Twins need one more inning out of Dobnak.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Last weekend in Guatemala for a while. Next weekend I'm heading back to the USA for a month. Caught some nasty virus down here a couple weeks ago and I must admit I haven't quite bounced back. Had planned to come back to the USA anyway but now I've got to go see a doc upon arrival. Sucks but thanks to Twins baseball and this board, I have something to distract me while I deal with these lingering symptoms. Should find myself in Minnesota by October 6th, with any luck I'll be watching October Twins baseball while in the great state of MN!Just make sure you have your parka with you when you pass through the Miami airport
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Maybe you'll have to give all your other shoes away to a relative or someone.Yeah ... I tried to give some to my niece, who liked them, but her parents just groaned and eye-rolled and didn't want her to have more shoes. But the Fluevogs are worth something ... I can sell them and get some money back on them.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Gotta do better than this against Skoglund.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 For those making Ric Flair comments last night, you’ll be interested in knowing that a chaplain from an Albert Lea retirement home just stopped by the radio booth with a Ric Flair t-shirt.
tvagle Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 You know ... if you click on this link, all your adds become artwork ... it's pretty fun!Not buying this at all
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Well, my other game thread intro was the polka music of Al Yankovic... Point of clarification: Frankie Yankovic, "America's Polka King" and Grammy winner is not related to parody producer "Weird Al" Yankovic, although they both play accordion and have collaborated.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Get back in the zone, Dobnak! Nice catch, Marwin!
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 5-2 Cleveland in bottom of the 7th.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Hey - been awhile since I posted - but have been wondering who did Squirrel used to be? I missed the name change, or did the real Rally Squirrel recently joined the forum and has simply had the time to post over 24,000 times in a few weeks? And if it is the real Rally Squirrel - is it true you are trying to sabotage TC Bear so you can be the primary woodland mascot for the Twins? I heard you might have spiked his honey with something that made him act inappropriately at some fan event and is now taking sensitivity classes. I am starting to think the early part of the season might not have been a fluke.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Keeping Merrifield off the bases is kinda big.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Philadelphia bringing in our ol' buddy Mike Morin to keep it relatively close in Cleveland.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I think it is up to SQUIRREL to reveal anything about former monikers.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 LaMarre and Schoop should not be on post season roster. Wade, Cron, Gonzalez, Castro, Adrianza, Kepler, Polanco, Cruz, Garver, Sano, Rosario, Arraez, Cave, Berrios, Odorizzi, Dobnak, Rogers, Duffey, Littell, Romo, May, Graterol, Smeltzer, Thorpe and Perez (Thorpe, Perez and Smeltzer should be in the bullpen).
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 No reason not to run Dobnak out for the 6th.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Philadelphia bringing in our ol' buddy Mike Morin to keep it relatively close in Cleveland.....and it worked.
bighat Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Just make sure you have your parka with you when you pass through the Miami airport Coldest place on the planet, just ahead of Novosibirsk Russia in the latest rankings if I recall correctly. Luckily we're going through Houston this time. Quicker customs lines. Then connecting to Tampa for a beach week before heading back to MN.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 5 full innings of shutout pitching by Randy Dobnak. This guy is an un-drafted rookie.

Give me Schoop over Perez any day of the week.
