I can’t be sure, but I suspect Rosario was admiring what he thought was a HR. He’s pretty fast. He should have been to second easy after that bobble.

It looked to me that Eddie took too long looking at where that was going to land, then compounded it with going too far towards second.

I think both at this point. At the very least Smeltzer's floor is a left handed LOOGY. Problem is, there are quite a few of those guys. However, I do think he is better than just a loogy. I don't think he is probably as good as he's shown (it is the Royals, but it is still an MLB lineup.) I think I would be comfortable with him as the #5 next year if you go get another top tier starter and resign one of the the three upcoming FA's. 

I don't think we can dismiss the Royals lineup as they've got some good young talent there.

Very nice play by Arraez. I was expecting him to put together great at bats (obviously not as good as he has been, but still good at bats because of his style of play). I wasn't expecting the + defense at 2B though

WOW, some fantastic plays in the 9th inning to get win #69 on the year for your first place Minnesota Twins!!! So happy for Smeltzer getting his first big league win, and we have a sweep!!! Hitters showed up when they needed to, and the bullpen did it's job against a poor Royals team. The difficulty of opponent takes a big step up tomorrow, but I am confident in this team!
