Yup. I'm off to hear Edgar Meyer & family in about 15 minutes. If Rogers pitches the 9th, I might not miss out.

Edgar Meyer is god. (Apologies to Eric Clapton. Actually no apologies because he is to the double bass what EC is to the electric guitar.) Really, I saw him perform about 10 years ago. He played a Bach suite of some kind, and I was thinking, well, he's not bad, then suddenly he was doing things with his left hand that were jaw-dropping. I wasn't really too stoked about his own compositions but he's a technical genius.

I thought he meant these 8 innings have felt like 18. I will not be awake for 18 innings tonight, and I would like some chicken before bedtime.
