Game Thread "Bo" Twins vs. A's 6:10pm cdt 7/20/2019ad

[Riverbrian]

We had a little advance scouting on Grossman directly applied there.

[Nine of twelve]

Now that's the Robbie Grossman I remember.

[dadams1000]

Perhaps they only wanted to have him face 3 hitters? Maybe they didn't want him to face Olsen and Canha?

That worked good for them

[PDX Twin]

That's the Robbie we remember: Gold Glove and Rubber Arm.

[Mill1634]

FANTASTIC running by Ehire, and coaching by 3B coach. You know Robbie has a noodle arm, and it showed right there.

[twinsnorth49]

That's the Grossman I remember.

[Blake]

Yes! I was waiting for the Grossman I remembered to make an appearance!

[tvagle]

That's the RG we know and love!

[Nine of twelve]

We just pinch ran for someone who is SLOWER than the original runner...

Didn't want to click like but great bit of info.

I wasn't going to fall for it.

[twinsnorth49]

The A's FO better be doing something about this bullpen......

[sampleSizeOfOne]

What i miss?

Bombas, bombas and more Bombas, i hope?

[VATwinsFan]

Looks like Parker in the 8th.

[operation mindcrime]

He had to call the Dish & Sling hotline

I think he works at the call center! That's why he was removed because his shift was starting!

[PDX Twin]

Arraez would fit well on this Oakland team.

[Nine of twelve]

LOL - 6 of us commented in one way or another about remembering Robbie Grossman's acumen or lack thereof as an outfielder.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Max to the Max

Just wanted Arraez to have a fresh count next inning

I expect that to be in the July recap....most similar post in a 10 second window

That was my thought. And it might be against a RHP as well.

[Mill1634]

Not sure how to find it, but I remember seeing that Parker is really bad on 0 days rest. Don't like the move here. Would rather see May, but who knows.

It wasn't remembering per se... It was more like an echo returning back from years past.

[twinsnorth49]

Everybody clench.

[Blake]

Parker's got this, right?

Whew!

You just started?

A good reporter would ask Rocco about that. I will mention that there's more to baserunning than speed. Some players are better at reading situations and so forth. Of course keep in mind I also posted that Cron made a great read to get to third base on Kepler's hit.

[tvagle]

"Twins fans...Big Cable wants to extort more money from you due to the fact that we need to generate more income due to the upcoming post season, please call on our behalf so they feel pressured to pay the ransom we have placed on our TV rights"

{spoken in the best blockbuster announcer voice you can imagine}

[Blake]

The A's FO better be doing something about this bullpen......

Been DFA'ing pitchers and the FO knows they need another lefty, correct? Who's available?

Edit: Just noticed you said the "A's." I'll let my comment stand, as I'll own my lack of reading comprehension.

I suspect May will get the 9th.

[HawksNest]

INDIANS LOSE!!!

This is not a drill.

[Mill1634]

Cleveland loses!!! Twins really need to win this game now with KC winning a 1-0 ball game.
