    I wasn't necessarily referring to the current FO but to the Twins organization as a whole.

    The problem as I see it is the players they draft. Larnach, Rooker, Buxton, Sano, Kepler, Hicks, maybe Kirilloff, and I may have missed some more guys. They are all the same player. They hit with some power but have no plate discipline! Is this the players themselves or the way they are being taught in the minors?

    I think a lot of the problem has to be laid at the feet of the pitching coach. Why is it Twins pitchers are constantly pitching behind in the count,ALL OF THEM. Time and time again they put themselves in a position of weakness by being behind in the count. What is the constant, what do they all have in common? Just a thought.

    While I would like to see a move I'm not sold that one or two pitchers is going to make a big difference. It all depends on what they have to give up to get them. They be getting asked to give up to much.

    I remember a quote from Earl Weaver, he said to the effect."If I have a pitcher throw a strike on a 0-2 count he'll be in the minors the next day"

    I can't believe it 9 runs!! The bullpen gave up 9 runs in 3 innings!! No, no help needed here! I feel real sorry for the offensive players, what do they have to do?

    Truthfully, at the beginning of the year what did you think? I thought 80 to 90 wins. I really don't think anyone thought they were the best team in league. I personally thought they would have their hands full just getting into the playoffs. I'm just grateful they have been as fun (or frustrating) to watch as they have. last year they were already done by this time. But really a couple of pitchers isn't going to get it done.
