LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Jake have a scoreless inning streak going?I guess the answer is no
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I don't know why, but Odo is pitching tentatively. Got lucky with the DP and an easy fly from Cabrera. I have a feeling this game won't be won by a mere 3 runs.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Still a quick inning, I’ll take it
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Cruz was a good get, big improvement from MorrisonAnd C.J Cron. is more than holding his own-so far

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I’m not even mad Odor gave up a run. That inning was only 9 pitches long!

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 IT and the family, checking in from Section 338, high above the third base line, hoping Jorge Polanco goes all Pablo Sanchez on the Tigers. Last night we watched Dougie Baseball’s Tiger AAA team (of course, it was the Tigers farm system, so it’s kinda like AA elsewhere) sweep Indianapolis at Fifth Third Field. Following the instructions of my elementary school math teacher to use fractions properly, I’ll just add that 1 2/3 Field is a really excellent place to catch a game if you ever are in Toledo. 5th 3rd bank is the owner of my car loan. I was suspect of a bank that can’t do fractions (who purchased it from my credit union, so I didn’t have a choice) to properly account for my balance, but we’re 4/5ths through the note and no issues so far. Keeping my fingers crossed

FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yankees up 5-0 on bieber and the Indians in the 2nd

PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yankees up 5-0 on bieber and the Indians in the 2nd Not sure how to feel about that. It's my 30th favorite MLB team against the closest challengers to my 1st favorite. One of those that you regret that both teams cannot lose.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 You know, I think Garver should get the award of ‘most improved’ in the team. While Buxton’s season is a huge turn around, he has just become what we thought he would be. But Garver, how he’s completely overhauled his catching, and made himself into a great catcher, that to me is what most improved is about.
brvama Provisional Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Can someone explain to me how the Twins winning this game (the fourth of the series)gives the Twins a series win?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I always thought that was a really weird name for a bank. I don’t bank there. The name "Fifth Third" is derived from the names of the bank's two predecessor companies, Third National Bank and Fifth National Bank, which merged in 1908....Wikipedia
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yah, I think I'll change my call. Odorizzi is dealing. Last hitter knew he had to swing for a fastball, so Odo tossed him a ridiculous curve almost a foot outside. Epick Flayal! He is toying with their affections. Odo for seven.

brvama Provisional Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 this 3 game seriesDuh! Old age is a beast. Thanks from the demented.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I always thought that was a really weird name for a bank. I don’t bank there.Yeah, banks usually like to be named first something or other. Not only is this bank a third bank, but of all third banks it's the fifth one. Kind of like a team finishing fifth in a AA league.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yeah, I knew that ... well, not the specific names of the previous banks, but that Fifth Third was a mash up ... but the result is weird to me.They should've named their bank 8!!!!!
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 They should've named their bank 8!!!!! They could resurrect the Weather Ball, but in black. (Not sure what that would mean about the day's weather, though.)
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 That photo made me lean to the left.Generally matches my politics.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 They could resurrect the Weather Ball, but in black. (Not sure what that would mean about the day's weather, though.)When the weather ball is black as night, nothing but doom and gloom is in sight.
