Astudillo might need a hot streak at the plate to keep his roster spot when Garver gets back. He's been pretty awful with the bat since he came off the IL.

He's phenomenal, but at least twice a week he makes a play with an ending that's almost indistinguishable from him being pushed out of a low-flying helicopter.

I really think Rogers’s is a situational guy, you know against lefties only

Dick is literally talking about how lefties are hitting Rogers better (in a 2018-19 sample size)... he's a great reliever and can go out there in high leverage situations, just don't overuse him. He's going to give up a few runs every once in a while like he did yesterday.

If he reallty wanted him to get back on the horse, Baldelli would have let him face Perez and get him out this time.
