Game Thread: Twins @ Angels, 5/23, 3:07 CT

[LaBombo]

Do our guys not know what warning tracks are for?

Or 13-run leads, for that matter?

[70charger]

Looked like he hit his head. Hopefully there's no concussion, but he hit it hard enough to perma-bend the brim of hat right away, which doesn't look good to me.

I'm guessing Marwin is back in right tomorrow...

[Doomtints]

Duffey could've had a 3-inning save today. :/

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Now are we there yet?

[LaBombo]

Fans booing Trout being walked...

... as opposed to booing their team for being swept by a combined 27-7, I guess.

It's something like 48 to negative 2, or whatever.

This has been a particularly half-assed Circus Boy update.

[ashbury]

I'll double up on this one

My Fake Canadian friends appreciate this one.

[LaBombo]

Trout to second on defensive scorn and ridicule.

[Aggies7]

That brings the tying run up. He just has to bat twice

[Aggies7]

Can this guy mix in a strike?

[wabene]

I'm a little pissed off they were trust the fate of this W to a rookie like Adams!

[Aggies7]

Wtf is this guy doing

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Now are we there yet?

No, not quite yet..

[IndianaTwin]

Twins are now on pace for 492 home runs!

In this game?

[Aggies7]

Tommy Lastella might be the greatest hitter of our generation

[ashbury]

Finally, the prayers of a great number of TD posters have been answered: Byron Buxton is in the leadoff slot!

[70charger]

So, tell me again who's going down when Cruz is back?

[LaBombo]

No worries, I've seen this movie before and after we blow an insurmountable lead, we win it with a home run by Chris Pratt.

I'm sorry, but is that a reference to a Canadian game show which had one season in the 1970s?

[snotboogie]

Tommy Freakin' La Stella.  Won't be sad to see the last of him.

[ashbury]

Gosh darn it all to heck, Adams. What The Fooey?

[Riverbrian]

There is little doubt now who gets sent down to make room for Cruz.

Feel bad for him.

He's gonna be thinking about this inning all the way to Rochester.

[IndianaTwin]

Angels had 2 on, 1 out when I turned off the game to get some work done. 20 minutes later I turn it on and it's 6-0? Is this real life?

Sounds like my kind of work day. Are you hiring?

[ashbury]

Chappelle's proposal for Fake Canadian ID cards for all US medical patients.

So, tell me again who's going down when Cruz is back?

Hint: is he pitching the ninth at the moment?

New winnar.

Chappelle's proposal for Fake Canadian ID cards for all US medical patients.

Ahh, it's hard to keep up, especially when I haven't run in years.

On the bright side, now that he no longer figures in the organization's immediate plans, there seems to be little need for concern about his pitch count

Edit: pulled for pitch count.

[MVP Nick Punto]

Does this count as a save situation, yet?

[Aggies7]

Can we end this FFS
