...it certainly has been thus far.

At least it got fans to come out to whatever this stadium is called now. Other than that, not been pleasurable so far

How many of Kopech’s rookie cards do you think Bucknor has?

In addition to Mauer, did Sano go around on his first at bat? The Sox broadcast didn’t have the intestinal fortitude to show a replay.

Bremer thought it was a clear swing.

That wasn't too close to take. It was at the top of the catcher's helmet, maybe even above it.

Thats what the question mark was for, Yes it was a bit high

You know, same day weather forecasting is extremely accurate these days. If I’m the manager and I see that it’s going to pour less than an hour into a game, I probably give the ball to a reliever for an inning or two and bring (arguably) my best guy in after the rain.

whoa, whoa, whoa......

nm, I agree.

But then, I'd not be rostering Grossman at this point, so clearly I know nothing.

Look at gameday, they have a replay and if you full screen it the strike zone box shows it hit the top line of the zone. Joe is 6'5" after all.

Same on FSN, BTW.

Important start for Berrios. Is he going to be the guy that was borderline dominant in the first half or the guy that has been borderline terrible in his last 5 starts?

Is this Berrios first full season on the team, or was he up from the beginning last year?

Technically his first full season. He made 6 starts in Rochester to start 2017.

How is it possible that Tony Oliva has lived in this country and this STATE for 60-70 years and still speaks broken English?

I’m not trying to make any kind of political statement. I just don’t understand how he hasn’t picked up better English over that time.

Shows what you know, idiot.

If CB Bucknor were a moderator here, you'd be in a heap o' trouble, for disrespectful posting to... yourself. :)

The older we are the more difficult it is to learn languages to fluency, and English is one of the more difficult languages to learn because of all the exceptions to rules and various other idiosyncrasies in the language. And not everyone is good at it. Despite 7 years of studying French I never became conversant. I could read it fairly well, but speaking, no. Same with my attempts at learning German and Italian.

We all realize that GameDay is a human clicking a mouse to spot a location, right? It is not linked to any real pitch-tracking data AFAIK.
