Game Thread Sun. 7/15: Twins vs. Tampa Bay, 1:10 pm CT

[yarnivek1972]

You called it.

That’s the only logical move.

[tvagle]

ODDS on Dozier here ????

Let's just say I'm hoping for a tailing FB off his jersey

Only fitting end

[yarnivek1972]

They are giving up a bunt down first base line.

[Squirrel]

Looks like I missed some excitement ...

[yarnivek1972]

That would have been appropriate.

[Shaitan]

A balk would be good right about now.

[yarnivek1972]

Dozier isn’t clutch

[Nine of twelve]

Hmmm, not bad.

[mrmpls]

Atta boy Brian

[snepp]

DOZIERZIE TO THE RESCUE!!!!!

[Squirrel]

OMG ... glad I didn’t miss that one! **** yeah!

[Shaitan]

At least they've sped up the IBB process. This game would be soooo much longer.

[Aggies7]

Cripes

[Craig Arko]

Dozier isn’t clutch

Not at all.

[operation mindcrime]

Way to increase that trade value!

[mrmpls]

Turned out a hell of a game !!!!!!!!!!!!!

[IndianaTwin]

Dozier stinks -- trade him NOW!

Or something like that...

[Squirrel]

So, someone watch the post game show and tell me what happened in the 7th.

[mickeymental]

as expected.

[Nine of twelve]

I'll take credit for not jinxing the 10th by predicting anything, You're welcome.

[tvagle]

No-Doze on that one!!!

[notoriousgod71]

Dozie Crede's it!

[Squirrel]

Dozier isn’t clutch

This exactly why I like baseball. People can say these things and are wrong a good lot of the time just because they think they know a trend.

You know ... I’m the one who showed up just when Dozier was batting. It was me. I’m the angel of good. Just ask Aggies.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Dozier OPS at .913 in the last 15 games BEFORE today. Must be the second half.

[Han Joelo]

Oh good lord.  I endured almost that entire game and then got distracted and missed that ending.  Just missed it while my MLB.tv was overthinking.  I deserved better.  What a game.

That game was really good because it had all the emotions of every day life, mostly disgust, hatred, and anger but now ecstasy that can carry over through Thursday.

[Nine of twelve]

So a 1-8 road trip followed by a 9-2 home stand. It's impossible to know what to hope for with these guys.

[glunn]

Good win to start the All-Star break.

All the credit in the world to Dozier—we need him.

That being said, Gleeman a couple weeks ago on GATG talked about the research he did that showed Dozier is literally the worst Twin of all time in close and late situations. Even broken clocks are right twice a day.
