I have no problem taking Rogers out. He’s a lefty specialist, period. He has never shown an ability to get quality RHB out. He definitely shouldn’t be facing them in a high leverage situation.

If this were a normal game I'd agree...but after yesterday I think I'd roll with whoever was getting guys out

To get the runner to 3rd base with less than 2 outs. Cave is can hit. Bunting those guys up is a huge move for the Twins and Grossman did his job. Good play overall.

So, Molitor routinely inserts Grossman to pinch hit for Cave, but here Molitor calls for Grossman to sacrifice bunt in order to let Cave hit?

Except that now Garver has to not GIDP, something he is prone to do. Or not strike out. Another thing he is prone to do. This would have been a good spot for Austudillo, who does nothing but make contact.

Because they have to get a feel for the bullpen mound, which is going to be different than the bullpen mound.
