Eddie is Lindoring the Clevelanders.

What do you call a guy with no "arms" and no legs pitching in relief against Cleveland?

(not the real answer): Plenty good enough.

Man was that lucky. That slider to Chisenhall after three consecutive singles was so right down the middle.

That was real close to being a 9-7 ball game.

Belisle is going to be scary. I still can't believe they signed him.

I forsee having Belisle on the roster hurting us in the future... I'd really rather see Busenitz, Curtiss, or Moya up here getting these innings.

Belisle escapes...

Belisle snuffs out Cleveland's meager attempt at a comeback, ripping away what little hope they had, and destroying their mojo for days to come.

Dick bringing up the idea of the Twins having a AAA team in Rochester, MN. That will not happen. Not even close. There are not enough people there to even come close to supporting a AAA team. They don't even have a Midwest League team there. That, by the way, would make sense for the Twins, but Cedar Rapids is not a bad place for a team and that city has worked hard to have the Twins' low A team there.

Should have used Reed instead of Pressly since there was a 6 run lead. Pressly has been pitching way too much lately. Should have saved Pressly for tomorrow!

Well, I guess that's why they were waiting to use Magill. It's nice to have a long reliever who can shut down the opponent. He reminds me of how Dillon Gee did a similar job last season as a long reliever.

Magill looks better than Gee. Much more life in his arm. Gee was pretty broken down by the time he got to the Twins. Magill looks like he's got some years in him. Might even try him out as a starter.

I hope whoever signed Belisle watch this game and make the right decision for the team. Busenitz needs to be promoted and maybe Duffey.

Gee looked broken down? Really?

Gee as a reliever for the Twins 2017: 23.2 IP, 1.14 ERA, 7.6 K/9, 1.9 BB/9. He was less effective as a starter (had 3 starts) but he was valuable as a long reliever. In 11 outings out of a reliever, he gave up earned runs once (he gave up 3 runs in that one outing). That doesn't look like broken down to me, but I will concede he's in Japan for a reason.

Why overused Pressly was in with a 6 run lead makes absolutely no sense. Molitor has lost it.

Great game, Eddie! Honestly, the Twins have put themselves into a position where they really need a win tomorrow as well. A win puts them just 3 games back, and a sweep might bring some much needed swagger back into the clubhouse. Hate to get greedy, but I think in order to really start rolling they need tomorrow's game as well.

Regardless, nice to see some fight on the road from this team here.

Gee did some yeoman work for the Twins, but his mlb career was winding down. I believe he left the Mets because of arm trouble. Got some of it back, enough to do some decent relief work for the Twins.

My main point was that Magill looks like a guy who will get results at least as good as Gee did, and Magill could last several years in the long relief role. Good news for the Twinks.
