jun Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Romero and Carrasco are competing who gets the lowest game score in this game.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Wow, that's not exactly the way I wanted Carasco to be knocked out of the game. I hope it's nothing serious.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Well, that's one way to get to the bullpen early. Ouch
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 That was an MLB: The Show kind of line drive off the pitcher...except in the game, they're usually okay somehow. Hope Carrasco's not too hurt.
bighat Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Hope Carrasco's not too hurt. Agreed. Tough way to leave the game. Tough out for Joe unfortunately as well, for what it's worth.
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Agreed. Tough way to leave the game. Tough out for Joe unfortunately as well, for what it's worth. Two at-bats, two solid pieces of contact. Good to see. He's really squaring them up.
mrmpls Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Logan, way to hustle into 2nd there,
bighat Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 More of that, Logan Morrison. Me gusta.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Romero is giving up too many hard hit balls.
OTPS300 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Kepler in CF, Mauer DH today. Also, Kepler!!!I'll get it right eventually.
jun Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Romero may think major league is too easy and he leaves way too many hittable pitches in the middle of the plate, he is going to be crushed.
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 That is all Ehire right there. Wowza.
jun Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Bobby Wilson is really in his own league of hitting, just pathetic.
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Three hot shots for Joe today!
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Yeeeeah, you can't let that happen.
S. Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Well, that was stupid. You'd think this team would be halfway decent on the base paths with Molitor as manager.
dgwills Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 To be fair to Rosario, there's really no reason for Joe to bluff there. The outfielder is going to throw home no matter what.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 To be fair to Rosario, there's really no reason for Joe to bluff there. The outfielder is going to throw home no matter what.My frustration with this is that even if Mauer is thrown out at home (likely) and Rosario stays at second, moving up a base doesn't really do anything to improve Rosario's chances of scoring. He'll still likely score on a base hit with 2 outs anyway.
bighat Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Romero hasn't been too good after those first couple of games. I hope Molitor goes to the pen before he gives up the lead. He should be pulled if he makes it through the 4th IMO.
S. Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 And another stupid play. Edit: worked out ok, but there is still no reason for Rosario to be throwing home there.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 thank god eddie hits the stuffing out of the ball because his throwing defense stinks also, what has happened to romero?

S. Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 thank god eddie hits the stuffing out of the ball because his throwing defense stinks also, what has happened to romero? Its a shame too because he has a great arm but so many of his throws are way off the mark or he makes stupid throws where he has 0 chance of getting the runner and it allows another runner to advance. In terms of Romero, he is a young rookie. People were getting all excited over a sample size of like 3 or 4 games and expected him to maintain that indefinitely? Some ups and downs should be expected with someone that young. C'mon Dozier, don't go trying to take off your leg protector like you just took ball 4, that wasn't even a pitchers pitch on the corner or something.
jun Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 I really think Dozier and Morrison should bat lower in the order. 2 spot lower!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 this game has one of "those" feels to it

Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Wow. Just perused Gamecast and saw bases loaded, one out, and we dribbled it down our leg. The Twins aren't a good enough team to overcome that.
jun Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Magill's fastball has good velocity and his pitch selection and location are both relatively good.
