Game Thread 4/28/18 1:10 PM Twins vs Reds

[Nine of twelve]

I hate you.

Mea culpa.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

I’m here at Target Field. I have come with expressed intention of stopping the losing streak with my bare hands.

Did you forget your glove again?

[mrmpls]

Great a.b. there Mauer. pitch was Very hitable, Getting Old Joe!!!

[John Kelsey]

36 pitches through four innings.

They needed Odorizzi to go deep and he's on his way.

[Jerr]

Yeah, tied up.

[Nine of twelve]

All right! Now keep stringing some more hits, boys.

[IndianaTwin]

We should call e.e. the Poet,

When he's on, he can hit, we know it.

With a run-scoring double,

the Reds are in trouble,

Unless like last night we blow it.

To third base he went on the error.

He must be a base running terror.

A sac fly by Robbie,

Who's doing the jobbie,

Let's grill the Reds medium rarer.

[USAFChief]

Unless like last night we blow it.

Fantastic!

But just so ya know, in case we do...who to blame, well we all know it.

Yeah, RiverBrian.

He's at the game. I'm just at home tending my smoker (thus "medium rare" was about all I could come up with).

[John Kelsey]

GARVER!

[USAFChief]

So RB is in the big M town

Acting, no doubt, the big clown

Will he deliver a win?

Or on his shoulders do we pin

The blame for the pen’s inevitable meltdown?

[ewen21]

There once was a boy named Joe Mauer,

In tight situations he'd cower,

His obsession with walks

spurred many long talks

And so did his odd lack of power

Slegers get the win today for Rochester -- 6 IP 4 H 0 R 2 BB 4 K

Moya gets his first save.

[mickeymental]

there once was a skipper named paul
who had to give someone the ball
when the ninth inning came round
and no one could be found
the fans banged their heads on the wall

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Is it safe to watch the Twins again yet?

If they lose this one..........

If they lose this one..........

Maybe best to head back under the blanket, just in case

[notoriousgod71]

Molly quick with the hook as Odorizzi just reaches 90 pitches. Perhaps he feels like the bullpen needs some work today.

They are both terrible and would have the same results as any of the guys up here now.

I'm about to do just that.  Been up since 5AM.

When I wake up maybe we by then we won

[USAFChief]

would rather not face Votto in this inning...

[mrmpls]

Does Molly pull Duke with Votto up ??   in the 8th

[Aggies7]

great job

[Puckett34]

Good job Duke.

[jun]

Let a LHP face a right-handed batter or let a RHP face a left-handed batter. That's Molitor's winning formula.

Does a snuggie count?

[USAFChief]

Does a snuggie count?

[Mike Sixel]

Garver showing he can hit. And he seems to call a good game. Now he needs to catch and throw better.. but he's a legit MLB player, imo

[USAFChief]

How about a double off the RF wall here, Joe?
