Possible items to include in the October 1 game thread opener

I am asking for TD posters to contact me via private message.

I have the honor of opening the game thread for game 162, Sunday, October 1. I have decided to use the time-honored 5-item format, with the 5 items being plays, events, or other occurrences from the 2017 season. I am asking for TD posters to send me suggestions for these 5 items via private message.

I'm not necessarily looking for the most spectacular plays, events, or other occurrences, but rather the most interesting ones. If you have a link to video of the play, event, or other occurrence you suggest please include that. I hope to incorporate that into my post.

I will review all suggestions, assign a weighted rating to each suggestion, do a statistical analysis of the results, and then throw out all the ones I don't feel like including. Or something like that.

Please don't make suggestions of plays, events, or other occurrences by posting here. Instead, please contact me ​via private message. I look forward to seeing the suggestions and I thank everyone in advance.

As an American High school teacher, I am surprised by the responses (or should I say lack there of) to this OP. Are Americans actually capable of following directions or has the OP received a total of 0 PMs? I'm so stunned right now...

PM your idea to someone other than spinowner with each recipient doing the same for nine times before finally handing it off to spinowner. Then post the original idea and spinowner's last version on the game 162 thread.
