yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Wow. Hat trick? Are we sure Joe doesn't need a blow?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 It probably wouldn't be if there were, you know, fans cheering.Would you go see this **** show if you were a tigers fan?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Maybe the homer came too late to get someone else loose? Don't like using belisle here since he pitched last night

bighat Verified Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 C'mon Twins close this out.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Checking in late, this is all I need to know. Thanks.
bighat Verified Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Wow. Hat trick? Are we sure Joe doesn't need a blow? Joe needs a break, so does Escobar. But it appears they'll be in the lineup come heck or high water as long as the Wild Card isn't settled. This is why Joe got breathers during the season, they say. So he could play now.

He had a pretty good day yesterday, I think it's time to ride with your best from here on out I think Joe's fine. The dude I was responding to suggested Joe should sit. I was trying to say: "in a perfect world, we could give Joe a break - but even the guys that could use one, aren't going to get it".

There were a couple seasons where his contact rate dipped pretty low, but I would still guess that is something he's done maybe 20 times in his career, and that seems high.
