Bremer talking about the Detroit bullpen like the Twins have a Yankees/Indians(esque) caliber bullpen.

Compared to the Tigers, they do.

 

Of course, a lot of the Tiger bullpen issues (and the Twins too) would be helped with better starting pitching.

I'm wondering what knucklehead wrote the copy to think that the Twins would host the WC game.  And then, also wondering why Dick would read it.

I was only half paying attention. Weren't they talking about a game 163?

After he got done reading the ticket promo, they then went into the scenarios for Game 163 (oh God, not THAT again!).  But in the middle of that promo was talk about tickets on sale for 'a potential Game 163, the wildcard game, and the ALDS'.  I had to do a double-take when I heard him say it.

Well, the last time I bought playoff tickets, one had to buy an entire strip for all possible home games, every round. Assuming that is still true.

Richard is really bothered by that band making a ruckus outside the stadium isn't he? Take it easy, Dick - focus on the game and not the concert buddy.
