Great point. I love Colon's attitude and hope that it's contagious. A young, talented team can catch fire with such an attitude.

One guy I wish could relax and enjoy himself is Taylor Rogers. He's always so tense on the mound, he doesn't look like he's enjoying himself. If I saw him tossing a ball to himself on the mound, that would be tre cool.

Not even half that! One of our local stations started playing Carson shows a little while ago. I've watched several episodes and while I definitely appreciate how popular he was, most of the ones I've seen haven't been all that great. But obviously that was a much different time.

I think he was out on that, but I agree that there wasn't clear enough evidence to overturn it. If he had been called out and we had challenged it, they wouldn't have overturned it either.

When Bartolo is on the mound I am fully engaged in every pitch and pump my fist or yell out in celebration with every out, something I haven't done since probably late in 09.

 

He is must see TV for me and he has made me rediscover my love for the game.

I think Mauer is averaging more than 1 out per plate appearance since returning from injury. Not a huge exaggeration.
