Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Serious question...if his offense never improves, how long will the twins stick with him simply for the defense? At some point you have to get more than 768 Ks a year
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 At least a couple times per year I choose to listen to Hawk. If the Twins are killing the Sox, listening to Hawk can truly be an amazing experience. So true. But the best is rendering him silent after a game of tirades. Thome walk off home run anyone?
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 *sigh* Buxton... I think we are getting close to the time we get concerned about his future.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Santiago has some good heat going today 94-95.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 I think we are getting close to the time we get concerned about his future. The kid is going to be ok. Last year we all moaned and groaned about Dozier not hitting. He turned it around nicely.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 ok Buck... time for a bases loaded confidence boosting hit.Instead, a confidence shattering swing at that drop-pitch on 0-1. He managed to guess the 0-2 offering would be a ball, but knew he was a dead duck and made it official on the next curve. Ugh.

Ugh.Shields has a nice curveball and he is throwing it with confidence against Buxton and Sano.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Hah! Who needs to hit them over the fence!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 The kid is going to be ok. Last year we all moaned and groaned about Dozier not hitting. He turned it around nicely. Except dozier proved he could hit for more than one month of his career.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 The ham has been smoking on the grill for awhile now. Hope this game is over before....INSIDE THE PARK HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!
hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Cuadrangular de campo for Dozier!
hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 I love seeing Dozier's enthusiasm & excitement!
NoCryingInBaseball Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Wow....almost missed that!
drock2190 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 I think Dozier knew Shields strands 100% of baserunners.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 If he had been out at home that would have been the most deflating play.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 That's the type of spark that wins ballgames!
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 This is a situation where I think that a walk by Mauer would be a really good thing, because it would make Shields have to work harder.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 I love seeing Dozier's enthusiasm & excitement! And his luxurious flowing locks as he sprints around 3rd.
crapforks Provisional Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Of course its nice to see the big bat on your favorite team go yard on a 3-0 pitch, but I can't say I like it overall. In fact, I absolutely love watching an opposing player make an out on 3-0.
