The only thing that drops in our outfield is raindrops, and sometimes baseballs.

Also batting averages.

Buxton will now get a chance at redemption for the poor plate performance and bad throw.

I meant fly ball deep center.  Sorry.

Watching this offense is like watching dyed Easter eggs dry

[crapforks]

I was just looking at some numbers. Buxton has been striking out more that he probably should. Anyone else notice this?

Apparently opposing pitchers avoid that by not putting the ball on a tee.

OK, government job or consultant? Which are you?

[Aggies7]

If you're going to hit .154 and not be able to bunt, you'd better take good angles to balls

Kepler probably makes that catch too.

[snepp]

With his walk today Buxton has upped his wRC+ from -26 to -24.

Baby steps.

[TwinsCD]

I have been doing some research on this very topic, and have discovered that every Pope in history has been Catholic. I also uncovered some intriguing preliminary data on bears in the woods.

[Winston Smith]

Does anyone else think DanSan isn't a great outfielder? Lucky he's such a good hitter.

[hybridbear]

Come on strikeout here!

[TwinsCD]

Why would you pitch to Abreu here?  Set up the DP!!

[hybridbear]

Why would you pitch to Abreu here?  Set up the DP!!

Because you can strike him out.

Dick said something about hoping he gets himself out.
