And his luxurious flowing locks as he sprints around 3rd.

He doesn't wear his hair that long anymore. :(

Joe takes a very hittable 1-0 strike, then grounds out to the pitcher on a ball inside - off the plate.

Infield shift to the first base side. Outfield shifted severely to left.

Zig-zag shift against Mauer is pretty effective.

This guy doesn't either.

Inside the park homer:  That was EGGciting for an Easter game.  Here comes Brian cottontail, hopping around the bunny bases...

I know lame.

Of course its nice to see the big bat on your favorite team go yard on a 3-0 pitch, but I can't say I like it overall. In fact, I absolutely love watching an opposing player make an out on 3-0.

Agreed.  Why give him the green light there?

We had Ford Pinto that, while it may have been under-powered, the engine was bullet proof. Ran that car 200,000 miles. As for the Corvair, we had one, it always started but that's about all I remember about it.

Chevelle.

Sounds okay so far, but how about if I tell you that paint job was described by my dairy farmer father as "calf scours yellow." Really made the dark green interior look spiffy.

I've been shoe horning EGG into conversation all day

This is great pitching for the Twins.  Seriously!  The bullpen gets yesterday off.  Get Santiago through 8 or 9 and that is impressive.

You're listening to Hawk also? Congrats? Also, is this whole "Beat him arm side" thing new, or a horse he's been beating for a while?

The answer to any question that concludes with "...a horse [Hawk] has been beating for a while" is going to be "Yes."

Off the plate yes, but it was low and away, and in a spot often called a strike against left-handed hitters.

Ha! RB and I have a 3 game sweep to our credit. If Van get's the W, he'll still not have the perfect record RB and I enjoy!

Anyway, I'm doing a chicken for Easter dinner while my wife makes her fabulous green beans and does some carrots on the grill.

What are you talking about? I'm 1-0 baby!!

Would like to see him swing at the good ones.

Agreed, especially if that good one happens to come early in the count.

I bet Bert made a comment about pitchers being the best athletes on the field after Santiago caught the bunt.

He just suggested that the pitcher should have let it drop then thrown to third.

DickBert: Jacob May good minor league hitter.

To Google!

.711 minor league OPS.

*facepalm*
