So you're not in favor of the Twins trading away the Belisle, Breslow, Kintzler trinity? Pretty much the same thing.

In all seriousness... (I have to type something like that when I'm actually serious).

 

I wonder about Buxton 3 and Mauer 4 like everybody else but... I believe that Mauer should be handcuffed to Buxton hitting behind him in the order. 

 

So...

 

3 4 is kinda OK with me.

 

OK... I'll duck behind furniture now to avoid the tomatoes.

Yeah, supposedly Belisle is one of our late inning guys.  Why use him with a 6 run lead?

If Belisle is only a late-inning guy, he could go weeks without pitching. Might as well start showcasing him early.

Thanks, you too! The Twins' off season was so intense that I had to breathe into a paper bag for a few... months, but I'm ok now.  Thank goodness it was the Twins who score when I showed up, or I might have been forced into another month or two of hibernation.

Since I knew I'd run out, I have been holding them back and using them mostly on Mike's post ... because it's his birthday today ... and I have been enjoying his Spanish posts ... and 4-5 pages went by too quickly with that last inning so it's more like 9-10 since I last mentioned it! :)

Hopefully they can jump off to a nice start this season. Just need to go 80-81 the rest of the way to go .500 now!

Well, win this one today and it's already a way better start to the season than last year. It's not really a stretch. :)
