Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 The EU has named our new top executive as a threat. They are not wrong. He's a genuine threat to our country and the world.I agree. That being the case, when sanctions start being applied to the United States by the UN and maybe the members of NATO, what reaction dare we expect? I'm thinking 'duck and cover.'

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 What is our country coming to when a judge can halt a Homeland Security travel ban and anyone, even with bad intentions, can come into U.S.?I know this one! Everyone knows that the only part of the Constitution that needs to be followed is the 2nd amendment. Heck, the Bill of Rights is even on a different document so we can probably go ahead and toss page one in the garbage, it's basically just a cover letter anyway.

Uh huh, OK sure. How about we just pretend Fox News isn't a respected TV company and call it even.

This would be a good opportunity for Trump to stand up for an American -- any American -- over Russia. It's an opportunity that he will not take.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 At least some Republicans crossed party lines. What a shame, rejecting her might have made more Republicans feel more confident standing up to the fringe who now run their party.
jimmer Verified Member Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Well, I guess since the President has no experience, neither should the Secretary of Education.I wonder if she could teach him about Fredrick Douglas. Two measly Republicans cross party lines.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 I think that Devos confirmation has driven me away from ever voting Republican again. It's going to have to take one hell of an outlier at this point.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 I had some hope this might be the place someone took a stand. But I guess party is more important than anything else.
