So here I am, innocently flipping through the channels, and I see it... You're not fooling me, North. Isn't it convenient North chose today of all days to write a game thread??

 

Maybe he saw into the future, and knew the Twins would have a lead at one point in the game.... OR, maybe he needed anything to distract him from the World Cup of Hockey! Feelimg nervous about the Russians yet?

Hopefully that doesn't happen this Saturday. It's the season finale for me writing game threads!

 

Worrying about letting down game thread Twins fans this season is like worrying if starving life raft survivors will be upset that the ribeyes aren't grass fed beef.

We've had some Saturday Afternoon games where I was basically replying to myself. 

If I recall correctly, you set a personal record for "most likes" in one of those.

Tigers announcers can't believe the quality of pitches that hitters get these days, in their day throwing pitches like that to a guy like Dozier would result in a fine.  :rolleyes:

I keep watching it and thinking it, and not believing it. In his first AB he got one in and up also and missed it.. It seems odd. But good for Doze, they keep throwing him his pitch, and he just keeps hitting it.

It's kind of like working as a sole proprietor and scheduling meetings with yourself.
