Cookies are baked and cooling ... it smells good in here :)

Prediction:    So is Bark.     Not going to hazard a guess about the smell,  though.

Much like Nick Punto, Sazuki hits much better when he doesn't play every day. If only they could have developed a plan over many years not to play him every day.

Well, at least he saw a few pitches that time.  Result still the same, though.  Why he ain't still in Rochester, I dunno...

Who's still awake and watching and here?

Sometimes I am... and sometimes I ain't.

My chin has collided with my chest a few times.

I believe that it was a mistake to bring him back up before getting more time in Rochester. That said, I could be wrong and hope that I am wrong.

It's only 11:52pm.  I don't think the party will get going until after 12:30.  I'm sure this game is going into extra innings.

Grossman is a machine.

And don't forget the telekinetic powers:

The Twins are beating themselves right now. They might have been able to tie the game up in the 8th inning if guys like Buxton and Nunez wouldn't chase after strikes that are nowhere close to the strike zone.

I wonder how long Sano will be out.

Day after the trade deadline.    That way nobody has to worry about how much their Plouffe jersey will fetch on ebay.

I was gonna say something like ... not like it has far to go ... but then wasn't sure how you'd take that

I thought Buxton's at bat was better than Nunez's. But unfortunately I think Buxton had three swings and misses (or at least two) to go with those foul balls.

You know I wouldn't have a problem with it... but I'd be confused on why you thought I was Jay Leno.

Well, I've met you ... maybe I'm giving up your real identity

I think Buxton could avoid some K's by being more aggressive and swinging at pitches earlier in the count.

Well, let's see-  Gulfa walks 2, then May walks 1 more--  it's a 3+ hour game already.  If I'm a Twins fielder, I'm a little perturbed about the BP around now.   And probably ready for bed, instead of a rocket off the bat of Coco Crisp.

Was just about to say something about how the Twins have used May in relief since his conversion,   and then it occurred to me...  when your baseball team is below .300 in June,   is not every single god bless-ed inning by definition... low leverage?

Cats are don't mark time. They sleep during the day and can be full of energy at midnight.

They probably don't even know it's Wednesday.

For an example of how tired I am.

I just checked the Red Wings Box Score to find out how Buxton was doing.

and I keep asking myself, "why does Molitor keep bringing in his best relievers in games the Twins are losing?"
