Did you really need to wait until 2 AM to take a photo with night vision goggles?

Yup,    although my original intention was to try to catch the raccoons in the act of huffing propane from my grill.     Thought it might come in handy if we had to resort to an intervention for them.

After watching the crazy hops in the Oakland Coliseum,   I'm starting to think that the only difference between their outfield grass and my back yard is that they don't have dandelions or a charming little wishing well like I do.

The only time I've done that is when I was seriously, beyond comprehension drunk.

And in other news... A gorilla in Cincinnati creates a new water park attraction.  

If people haven't seen the full gorilla video, they need to watch it to appreciate this somewhat tasteless joke.

 

I'm sorry for the gorilla as I'm a pretty big lefty when it comes to animal rights (though I eat too much meat--topic for another thread) and my gut tells me the gorilla was just protecting the kid from all the screaming commotion the adults were causing... and I'm really glad the kid was basically unscratched... but seeing that video will give you butterflies.

With all the talk about Buxton suddenly adopting a leg kick I wondered if he would have trouble staying back on off speed stuff and going the other way.

 

Looks like that's a no,  at least to the off speed part.
