HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Loved "When Harry met Sally". It does contain one of the classic lines in movie history. I've enjoyed probably a third of ChiTown's list."I'll have what she's having!"
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Don't worry about it LaBombo. If that happens Matthew Broderick and Helen Hunt will free you from that experiment and you can then go live freely in the wilderness of Florida. Don't tell nobody, but I'm already there, bro. That reminds me, Charlene's guardin' the airboat, and she gets a little grouchy if she don't get her mid-afternoon live chicken... http://www.pbcairboatclub.com/images/show.jpg
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Watching Centeno and Polanco hit the ball. It reminds me of something I have said frequently during this season. When you are losing with the same players over and over again. ... You should try some different players. I'll stop taking my bows now and go back to my normal goofball self.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Just what the Sam Hill is going on right now?
wavedog Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Nice weekend for Centeno - I had forgotten Catchers could hit. So, I know he will come back to reality but it's enjoyable while it lasts and this has come at a much needed time for some good news.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Ahem. This should get more likes.

If nothing else, you avoid the unpleasantness of fitting Einstein's definition of insanity. In other news, this one's in the bag! Double digit wins, here we come!!! http://blog.nuclearsecrecy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/duck-and-cover-drill.jpg

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I'd keep Duffey up in the majors for the rest of the year. However... I also think Dandelions look nice.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Nice job, Duffey. 7's enough, Paul. Yeah, but then who? It's a problem
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I can't believe the last Twins pitcher to throw seven shut out innings was Duffey last year.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Take Duffey out, or leave him in? Seriously, who ya got that's better, even if he's tired? The whole Hatfields/McCoys business of pitch count aside, the starting pitching has reached a point where any starter who can leave the game after six with a lead should maybe just get a handshake, a cigar, and a bag of ice. The pen's a mess, true enough, but a kid like Duffey could use a strong game line and a bit less wear on the arm as a little boost to build on for the next start. That, and leaving rookie/young pitchers in too long was one of my least favorite Roaming Gnome foibles.
