Game Thread: Minnesota Twins @ Cleveland Indians 5-15 12:10 CDT

[USAFChief]

I no longer get the jokes on Game Threads.

Except the plays on Abad's last name.

That's too abad.

[Comrade Bork]

Cmon May! Dig deep!

[jimbo92107]

Trevor May has successfully out-thunk his catcher.

[formerly33]

That's too abad.

Abad joke is grammatically correct. If not, it's just abad attempt at abad joke.

[HitInAPinch]

here we go again.......

[LaBombo]

I'm still sensitive to the Negativity Police from yesterday.

They're really not that bad if you get to know them a little better...

[Linus]

Does Trevor think he throws 100

[jimbo92107]

Goodness, if May has a straight change, now is the time...

[Riverbrian]

here we go again.......

Going down the only road I've ever known?

You misspelled Abad's last name. HTH.

[jimbo92107]

Batters get themselves out, if you let them...

[ashbury]

Goodness, if May has a straight change, now is the time...

As opposed to his straight fastball, you mean?

[USAFChief]

Bert:  "There's a lot that goes over our heads."

Chief:  "Geez, Bert, come up with some new stuff.  You're just an old geezer who uses the same tired, lame jokes over and ov...

...

HA!  Good one, Bert!!"

[jimbo92107]

Just broke a hummingbird feeder. Damn. At least it was the worst of the three.

[LaBombo]

Batters get themselves out, if you let them...

They do if they're Twins and their manager tells them to bunt...

[HitInAPinch]

Jeff Manship on the mound.  Sweet!

Try drinking from it with a small straw.

Or they just listen to Bruno.

Exactly the way the old gypsy fortune teller said it would happen!

[jimbo92107]

May's fastball is actually a pretty effective weapon. When he's on (!) he can spot it to all four corners, and his two-seamer does have good movement.

Today his fb command is so-so, but he's getting by and mostly avoiding the middle. Apparently he doesn't feel good about his off-speed stuff today.

[Linus]

Ok same lineup tomorrow.

[LaBombo]

Jeff Manship on the mound.  Sweet!

Back from his brief tour in the adult film industry.   Looks like things didn't work out aboard the   S.S. Rough Service...

Just pour the feed on your kitchen floor and open the patio

[jimbo92107]

I'm really liking Jorge Polanco.

[twinssporto]

WOW!!!  Way to go!  4 run lead.  Not sure how to respond.

Yeah, he probably wasn't the right target for that particular pun.

[ScrapTheNickname]

Just tuning in.

10 a.m. starts don't sit well with me.

Polanco at 2B and Sano at 3B - SWEET.

And an opposing outfield flubs a fly ball.

I'm going to shut off the computer now.

[HitInAPinch]

oh, no,oh, no,oh, no.....   etc.

Jepsen is warming up

[LaBombo]

Great starting pitching,  extra base hits,  competent fielding,  late insurance runs...

Only the uniforms give them away.
