ANND Welcome back! To Minnesota Twins Whine Line - Game Thread Edition! How neat was that yesterday to watch our favorite team win?! I hope you all enjoyed Negativity Police and the positive vibes he or she provided us! Unfortunately like all super heroes, they have another community to save from negativity.... Let's talk line-ups and weather!

Alright, now let's get some music to set the tone for the talking points....

Oh hell yes... Now I'm feeling it!

SHOW DOWN - It's the rubber game in this epic weekend match up. The Twins have a chance to win a series in god knows how long. Actually it'd be since the last time they played Cleveland from April 25-27. So yeah, they're well over due for this.

FEATURED FOOD AT THE BALLPARK - If you're like me, you love food. I'm always curious as to what's available at other ball parks, and how they match up to Target Field. Since it's a cold day in Cleveland, let's talk about MELT... This bar and grill provides 5 kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches to the mix! Here's a picture to get the taste buds working this morning...

BROCK'S WHISKEY OF THE WEEK - If you're stuffing yourself with a good grilled cheese sandwich today, you also need something good to wash it down. Take it from Brock, our whiskey expert on the site. If beer or vodka isn't in the cards today, try Bushmill's 10 year whiskey!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON MOVIE FOR CLEVELAND FANS - Let's hope that the Twins blow out Cleveland so badly that they'll want to watch a movie instead. But it's always good to have a back up plan for us too! Today "The Shining" is playing on BBC America starting at noon! Or if that doesn't fit your interests, CMT has an all-day marathon of Back to the Future!

When it comes to our Twins this afternoon, Big Ern McCracken said it best... "Just one more, sweetness!" GO TWINS!

Heh ... I was all excited ... Yes! They moved up Park and Arcia, where they should be! But then I realized no Plouffe or Dozier. But yes! Finally ... Polanco!! Woohoo!!! I'm excited about this. :)

That scene in Kingpin where Showdown plays is one of the best comedy scenes of all time.

It's one of my all time favorites too! I've probably watched that movie well over 50 times.

It's a chilly one here in Austin too! I'm considering grilled cheese after researching for the thread. Or some tortilla soup..

I make great grilled cheese sammies ... it's all about the cheese, and how much, and cooking it low and slow so you don't char the bread before the cheese is all melty ooey gooey goodness.

BTW...on a semi-serious mod-type note: we had some feedback/questions about the patrol the nice negativity policeman made through yesterday's game thread.

Here you go:

1. Yesterday was a one time appearance. The host and the nice policeman requested and got approval.

2. The nice policeman was attempting to regain control of game threads, which are sort of meant to be a place to get away from long term critiques of management, players, other posters, and attempts to claim something other than "The Princess Bride" as the greatest. Movie. Ever.

3. For a little more detailed answer, see the end of yesterday's game thread.

Lemme help ya with what we in the military used to call a "false dilemma":

Why not both?

Back to back starts for Centeno?

Hmmmmmmmm....verrrrrrrrry interestingk.

I guess his rep is that he's a good defensive catcher. He hits left and he's not Suzuki. I am all for him being platooned with Zuke until and unless John Ryan Murphy returns from Rochester.

I have read where Kurt is suffering from a stiff neck. If it's that cold and damp, I imagine it isn't getting better. I think this is Centeno 4th start in 7 games?

I just looked up Centeno's minor league numbers, and he's got 4 HRs in over 1600 PA. That's a little surprising. He's a solid overall hitter though, and I am looking forward to seeing what he does with this opportunity.

Surely you are mistaken! It's a well known fact that Airplane is the greatest movie ever! That said, I found it disappointing that Leslie Nielsen had to share top billing with that blow up doll!

I don't really think Centeno has much future, although stranger things have happened.

What I primarily like about Centeno is his name isn't "Suzuki."

I'm not mistaken.

And don't call me Shirley.

Just saying 'Yes' to his post would have sufficed. :)

If you're into food nearby, Great Lakes Brewery in Cleveland has tater tots the size of your fist.

I haven't been too impressed with his defense. But I have to say, since my expectations for Centeno have been pre-set so low, he has been a pleasant surprise thus far, in a vague Josmil-Pinto-MLB-debut kind of way-

Remember Pinto's 2013 batting line?: .342/.398/.566/(.964)

Yeah... so let's all enjoy the month of Centeno forever long as it lasts...

Inconceivible!

Looks like i picked the wrong time to give up Princess Bride references.

Last December, a series of coincidences put To Be or not To Be on my list of top movies. The original version of course, not that the remake is bad, though.

Sounds Messy

How do you keep the soup from running out of the Tortilla?
